How do you fit into my day?
We adapt to fit your requirements, typically arriving 1 hour before guests enter the room we are performing in. We liaise directly with venue staff, then set up and test our equipment; if you have booked a singing waiter they will then blend with staff to engage guests, establishing their presence before the big reveal. Note: We cannot handle food/drink due to health & safety regulations, but collect glasses and remain present in the room intermittently through the entire meal.
Most venues suggest it best time to perform is between mains & desserts, as guests often stretch their legs or get fresh air after the meal and we don't want them to miss us. The interactive performance entails 6 songs (around 25 mins) and is suitable for all ages and abilities.
Do you bring a sound system?
All performances include a full professional sound system with microphone(s) and dedicated sound engineer to operate it for your singer in real time; this cost is fully reflected in the quote.
What about hidden costs?
When you receive your quote, that is your final total. There are no further fees unless you decide to make special requests prior to booking.
Do you offer different scenarios?
We currently offer several scenarios which can be combined for duets/trios;
- Falling waiter
- Flashmob waiter
- Chef’s/waiter’s last day
- Fake cake/cake drop
- Pizza delivery
- Venue owner (alcohol licence has expired)
I don’t want opera!
We have a selection of songs across all genres which ensure your tastes and our experience bring together the perfect set for your guests. You can let us know when you pay your deposit and we'll ensure no opera is performed.
Do you film our performance?
We aim to film the performance solely for internal health & safety review. We are happy to liaise with photographers & videographers on the day, or you can ask them to get in touch with us at hello@gallusentertainment.scot.
How does payment work?
You have full control of how often you pay towards your balance directly using our bank details.
Payment is due in full 6 weeks before the big day; if you book sooner than that it will be discussed when you receive your quote.
What is your cancellation policy?
Payment must be received in full no fewer than 6 weeks before the big day (unless otherwise agreed). In the case it is not, we reserve the right to both cancelling our services and retaining the non refundable deposit to cover costs towards managing your booking.
